Successful in creative, digital and technology industries, Sally Ward graduated at Bristol Business School in 1999. She joined Greenhous Remarketing Services as a key figure within a newly created group-marketing team that developed an award-winning vehicle remarketing proposition as it grew from a new business start-up to a multi-million pound enterprise within 2 years.
In 2002, Sally went on to work for Sega Corporation and was responsible for market research, proposition development and communication campaigns for major game franchises including Celador’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, the BBC’s Weakest Link and Hasbro’s Monopoly. She was also involved in the conception, development and market introduction of an industry changing digital gaming platform known as TouchPlay. The platform became a prototype business model for an entirely new company Games Media which was later acquired by the global games and gaming organisation, Scientific Games.
Sally secured funding for new business start-up Deutero Business Information Ltd in 2005, whereby she originated an online business information application for a leading insurance network. The insurance group later acquired property rights to the application, increasing their portfolio of intellectual assets and revenue streams as part of their growth strategy.
In 2006 Sally was invited to work as acting MD for The Juice Group – an international digital design and IT consultancy based in Sheffield, London and Atlanta. This project came about when the owner had reached a critical juncture after 10 years of trading – he wanted to sell, but the business was struggling to remain competitive. Sally’s remit was to help realise The Juice’s potential value by creating new opportunities for growth. She pioneered a robust product offer, defended and underpinned by defined and protected intellectual assets including Sally’s 5-stage Design Process, and secured substantial contracts with Tesco, Virgin, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Research International and Application Solutions, creating a platform for future investments.
Sally now specializes in building communities for businesses and is Founder and Editor of BiteSize Media. Sally is also a Senior Associate Consultant of Sheffield Business School.
